Art Clay Hungary

Dear Artists and Makers,
We will be on Summer Holidays from the 27th of July untill the 9th of August.
All orders coming in within this two weeks will be processed on the 10 th of August.

Our Art Clay material prices are influenced by changes in the global market price of precious metals, which is currently showing extreme fluctuations. As a result, our prices are continuously adjusted accordingly.

“Art Clay Silver is a magical, clay-like material developed in Japan with a strong focus on sustainability. With just a bit of shaping and firing, you can transform it into a beautiful piece of pure silver jewelry.”

based on Japanese curriculum

We teach the use of Art Clay Silver according to the training system developed by the Japanese manufacturer.
This ensures that everyone receives high-quality, reliable instruction and just as importantly, that future instructors have the solid technical knowledge they need.

Silver clay is an incredibly versatile material. While it offers advanced possibilities for professionals such as jewelers and sculptors, it’s also surprisingly accessible for hobby users.

At the same time, it’s essential to have the right information before starting your first silver clay project. Even the firing process can be tricky if you have never done it before and especially when working with combinations like silver and glass.

WHAT IS SILVER CLAY MADE OF

The Art Clay Silver product line is composed of pure silver powder—mixed with non-toxic binder and water.

When fired in a kiln, with a torch, or even on a gas stove, the binder burns away, leaving behind pure silver (99.9%). In case of working with Copper Clay the result is high-purity copper (over 99.5%), or 22-karat gold using gold clay.

Art Clay is soft and easy to shape—much like the modeling clay you played with as a child. After firing at the correct temperature and time, your creation becomes a one-of-a-kind piece of solid silver, gold, or copper.

By using silver clay, you’re also making an eco-conscious choice: Art Clay Silver is made of recycled silver.

Please note: if you plan to sell your finished silver pieces in Hungary, they must be stamped in accordance with legal regulations. Check out the actual regulations in your country.

WHO DO WE RECOMMEND THESE MATERIALS FOR?

Whether you’re a beginner, a passionate hobbyist, or a trained jeweler, Art Clay Silver will open up a whole new world of creative possibilities.

Silver clay is incredibly flexible. It can be used to craft everything from simple, minimalist accessories to complex, highly detailed pieces. The only real limit is your technical knowledge, and that’s exactly where we come in: our workshops are designed to help you build the skills you need to bring your ideas to life.
