This is the original version of Art Clay silver clay. It is the material most people use, including the participants in our workshops, and we also recommend it to anyone who would like to create hypoallergenic jewelry.
The clay is excellent for shaping and can be easily filed and sanded both before and after firing. It can be fired between 650–800°C in a small kiln, or even with a gas torch.
After firing, pure silver (99.9%) remains, which can then be polished or patinated.
Ideal for pendants, earrings, or thicker rings.
The special properties of the clay make it possible to combine it with glass, porcelain, and ceramics. It can also be fired together with sterling silver and pure silver wire and components.
